@sebastianguis Idiot…what does a turkey have to do with a human child…

@jtschid0910 All you need is a call, ground blind, and fixed broadheads are fine. That’s all I use and I’ve whacked numerous turkeys. Aim for the wing area so you pin it to their body and they can’t glide away. I’ve made that mistake a few times. Not fun because you usually can’t get them back

I have been wanting to turkey hunt with a bow but i dont have a bow that i can go with. The bow i had was too small.Maybe ill be able to get a bow and kill me a turkey with a bow

By shibbyjekos on January 2nd, 2012 at 6:46 pm

@sebastianguis Why do you even search this shit?? Why don’t you go weep to someone else! I’d like to see you in the woods with a arrow up your ass..

By huntinfreak92 on January 2nd, 2012 at 6:57 pm

@jtschid0910 guillotines are nasty but do the job, problem is that u have to be right on for them to work. broad heads will bring the turkey down. again its all about placement. u want to immobilize the bird so you dont have to track em. cause they can be a pain. (usually no blood trail) also ur gonna wanna certainly get some calls. for a bow i would probably use a mouth call to free up your hands. also deks can help alot to.

I have just recently bought a bow and deer hunted with it, and was wanting to try my hand at turkey hunting. I have a bow and a ground blind. No special broad heads, (just regular fixed blades) and was wanting to gain a small inside info on the sport. What is a excellent broadhead to use while hunting? I have heard of the “guillotine”. I don’t have any decoys or calls. Could an experienced turkey hunter please help me out.
